Wallace W. Brunner, 84, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Borgess Medical Center. He was born on May 7, 1930, the son of Howard Brunner and Josephine (Prossor) Brunner.
Wally served in the US Army from 1951 to 1953. He was employed at Post Cereals for 36 years until retiring in 1986.
Wally is survived by his Wife of 64 years: Mary Lou (Busick) Brunner of Battle Creek, MI; Daughter: Cindy (Ron) Masters of Battle Creek, MI; Sons: Wally (Nancy) Brunner of Battle Creek, MI and Mark (Donna) Brunner of Sahuarita, AZ; 5 Grandchildren & 5 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, 3 Brothers & 3 Sisters.
Wally enjoyed working in his yard and loved spending time with his family. He was a member of the Post 25 Year Club.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Tuesday July 22, 2014 from 3 PM to 7 PM, where the family will be present 3 PM to 5 PM.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, 11 AM.
A private interment will take place in the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
