William H. McKeown, age 66, of Battle Creek, MI, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Oaklawn Hospital. He graduated from W.K. Kellogg High School in 1965. He served in the United States Army as a Segarent and then went on to serve in the Air National Guard as a Master Segarent. William was a factory worker for over 20 years and was a Truck Driver with Schneider National for 10 years. His hobbies were golfing, tinkering, word searching, landscaping, and playing with his grandchildren and grandanimals. He will be greatly missed and will catch us all on the back 9.

He is survived by his wife, Iva McKeown of 44 years; son, Shawn McKeown; daughters, Sheri (Joe) Kandell, Sandra (Jamie Kevwitch) McKeown; 2 grandchildren, Megan and JJ Kandell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Myles and Elva McKeown; 2 brothers, James (Janet) McKeown, Michael (Marsha) McKeown and grandchild, Dakota Long.

Visitation will be held at Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 5:00pm-8:00pm. A graveside service will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 2:30pm.
