William Jordan Anderson, 89, of Brooksville, FL, died, Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo Michigan. He was born September 2, 1923 the son of William Fane Anderson and Mary Lee (Fisher) Anderson.
Jordan served in the US Navy as a Pharmacist Mate 2nd Class from 1943 to 1946. He was employed at Clark Equipment for 30 years until retiring in 1977.
Jordan is survived by Daughters: Yolanda Jean Buller and Mary Lou Moreno; 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren; Sister: Alice Harlow. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Wife: Freda (DeMaray) Anderson; Son: Terry Lee Anderson; Sister: Virginia Taylor; Brothers: James Anderson and David Anderson.
Jordan enjoyed woodworking, reading westerns and time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Baseline United Methodist Church before moving to Florida where he was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Monday, July 8, 2013, 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
A funeral service will be held at the Baseline United Methodist Church, 9617 Baseline Road on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 11AM.
Interment will be at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorial tributes may be made to the Baseline United Methodist Church.
