Zachary K. Phillips, 22, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015. He was born on September 3, 1993, the son of Terry Keith Phillips and Denise Lynne (Smith) Phillips.
Zach is survived by his parents, A Special Cousin, Paul Ryan Smith of Battle Creek, MI; Three Aunts, Sheri Renee (John) Heffron of Battle Creek, MI, Gloria Smith of Battle Creek, MI, Lisa Smith of Battle Creek, MI; Six Uncles, George Smith of Battle Creek, MI, Jim Phillips of Battle Creek, MI, Russ Phillips, Jr. of Battle Creek, MI, Mike (Kelli) Phillips of Climax, MI, Tony Phillips, Dale Dove of Battle Creek, MI; Two Grandmothers, Lena Smith of Battle Creek, MI, Betty Lou Phillips of Battle Creek, MI; and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, George Smith and Grandfather, Russell Phillips.
Zach loved motorcycles and working on cars. He thoroughly enjoyed dirt biking and video games while hanging with his cousins and friends. Dirt biking was his favorite and was an avid skateboarder. He enjoyed rap and R & B music. Zachary enjoyed hunting for small game when the opportunity presented itself.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Thursday October 15, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Friday, October 16, 2015, 1:00 pm with Pastor Jeffery Davis of Overflow Church officiating.
Interment will take place in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
