Obituary for Roger Van Palmiter

Roger Van  Palmiter
Roger Van Palmiter, 58, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at University of Michigan Health Systems. He was born on December 2, 1958, the son of Randall I. Palmiter and Lois L. (Langworthy) Palmiter.
Roger was a graduate of the class of 1977 from Harper Creek Schools. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He also was a member of the American Legion Post #298.
Roger is survived by his Wife of 22 years - Tammi (Bailey) Palmiter of Battle Creek, Michigan; Son, David Danke Jr.; Daughter, Stephanie Ann (Seth) Jackson; Brother, Fred (Linda) Palmiter; Sister, Nyla Palmiter-Erhardt; Two Granddaughters, Leeann Lois Jackson and Hailey Sue Jackson and a host of other loving family. He was preceded in death by his Father, Randall I Palmiter and Mother, Lois L Palmiter.
Roger was an avid coin collector. He enjoyed getting his hands on coins that no one else could. Roger loved to travel. He enjoyed traveling with his wife in their motorhome. He loved watching NASCAR. He was a caring man that would go out of his ways for anyone. He would help out in anyway that he could without giving a second thought. Above all else, he loved his family. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, Tammi and their children..
