I knew Roger for a short time but long enough to call him a friend. I worked with him at Duncan Aviation and it was always a pleasure to see him down on the floor. My condolences go out to the Palmiter family. I'll be playing in the "Hockey for Life" tournament this weekend. 240 skaters are skating for a reason and cause including myself. There will be a banner with posterboards attached that people can sign - entitled "Why I Skate." I have 2 reasons and one of them is in memory of Roger.
