I was fortunate to have Andy as my brother-in-law. He was a very caring person who was unable to express his caring in words. But once you got past that gruff exterior, in appearance and words, you found it to be his protection for a very tender heart. He was generous to a fault, never spending money on himself, but saving it and spending it on others. He was a loyal friend. Family was so important to him, and he was happiest when thinking about and with his family. Although he wouldn't even tell them that, we all knew. And we all appreciated Andy for the grouchy and gruff, but gentle soul that he was. Rest in Peace Andy.
