As a coach involved in athletics for my career, the fact that Jerry's 440 record and the two relay records have stood since 1969 is incredible. That's 48 years of athletes attempting to break Jerry's records. And they couldn't! How AMAZING is that!. We could have made a heck ova wrestler out of him, like Billy, I'll bet.
