Condolence: Richard and Chelsea- You were blessed by a most wonderful Wife and Mom. Of course you knew that and all friends and aquaintances did too. What an absolutely real child of God, Kathy was. Her gifts for mentoring the lost and those who yearned for a true relationship with Christ, like me, were given a change to know Kathy and learn from her heart. I will miss her smile and laughter and the intercessions she so freely gave. A stronger person I yet to meet, and a battle she fought with determination and faith, until Christ needed her more. Goodbye dear friend.

Condolence: Kathy called me her "Rose Friend" and this poem was one she sent to me. It also expresses my love and friendship with her. I was blessed to have been her friend and caregiver. She was an inspiration to me as a Christian and a mother. I will miss her with all my heart but I also know she will always reside there.

Like a rose with a thorned, briared stem, you know how to cut to the truth, and even when giving a well deserved prick, a rose has a fragrance to soothe.
