Michelle M Slone, 56, of Olivet, Michigan, passed away after a long battle with kidney disease on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Borgess Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born on April 1, 1961, the daughter of Paul Meloff and Mitzy Eileen (Bliznakoff) Meloff.
Michelle graduated with the Class of 1980 from Lakeview High School.
Michelle is survived by her Husband of 26 years - Gregory Slone of Olivet, Michigan; Father, Paul Meloff; Brother, Marc (Sherry) Meloff; 13 nieces and nephews, 3 great-nieces and great-nephews and her beloved dog, Kirby. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Mitzy Eileen Meloff.
Michelle never met anyone that she considered a stranger, she was a social butterfly. She was very active with the National Kidney Foundation. She would conduct fundraising activities to support her local foundation. Michelle loved her pets especially her dog, Kirby. Michelle had an infectious smile and laugh that everyone loved to see and hear. She loved spending time with her family, and watching them grow over the years.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with Panikhida starting at 7:00 pm.
Orthodox services will be held at St. Elias Eastern Orthodox Church, 5066 B Dr S. on Saturday, October 7, 2017 starting at 11:00 am.
Interment will take place in the Porter Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
