Richard Albert Johnson, 88, of Battle Creek, MI, Died, Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 153 Eastland Drive in Battle Creek Michigan.
He was born June 5, 1925 the son of Karl Trevor Johnson and Harriett Marie (Fisher) Johnson.
He served in the US Navy as a medic during WWII. He was an educator at Battle Creek Public Schools for 32 years until retiring in 1985.
Richard is survived by his wife of 66 Years: Jean Johnson;
Daughters:
Holly (Terry) Smith, Karla (David) Okoniewski, Heidi (David) Angood, Kelly (Robert) Mitchell and Mary Lou Claypool;

Grandchildren: Sarah (Keith), Terry, Todd (Heather), Andrew, Trevor, Kaitlyn (Fabian), Cameron and Jordan;
and 11 Great Grandchildren;

Sister: Patricia Schafer.

He was preceded in death by his Parents;
Brothers: David and Robert Johnson. He was a charter member of the Cereal City Lions Club.

Visitation will be held atthe Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Friday, September 6, 2013 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
