My deepest condolences to the Dixon family. I am sorry for your loss. I had the honor to meet and become a friend Dean’s in the fall 1984 as roommates at Lake Superior State. He was a passionate person, he had a smile that lit up a room. He was a rare person with a kind spirit and a passion for life. The memories we building during those three years are memories I have reflected upon since hearing of his passing. I never had the honor to meet his wife and children, but the man I know with a kind spirit and passion for life would make any man a great husband and father. May his wife and children find comfort in knowing Dean loved life, he loved coaching and mentoring young men. The Lord now has the best youth hockey coach and mentor of young men long side him in heaven. A great person has left us too soon. The gift’s he has gave us all are priceless. May we all find peace in our memories of Dean H. Dixon, as a husband, father, son, coach, mentor and a friend. I will miss you my friend. My prayers are with you and your family.
