Obituary for Mildred Ann Creech

Mildred  Ann  Creech
Mildred Ann Creech, 79, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 22, 2017. She passed at Bronson Methodist Hospital unexpectedly due to a car accident. She was born on June 21, 1937, the daughter of Harvey Odum and Leslie (Prevatt) Odum in Lumberton, North Carolina.
Mildred was married to Billy Creech on May 13, 1954. Celebrating 63 years this year. Mildred is survived by her Husband, 2 brothers, 1 sister, Children, Rachel (Dave) Dyer, Debbie Cousins, and Billy "Greg" (Audra Chase) Creech. Mildred has 9 Grandchildren, and was blessed with her first great grandchild, Brody this year.
Mildred was a loving mother and a caring housewife. She loved spending time with her family, spending time in her flower garden, and feeding her hummingbirds. She was a faithful member of First Wesleyan Church for 48 years. Pastor Zuhl encouraged Mildred to coordinate the nursery department back in the late 1970's. She served as the nursery coordinator for over 30 years, and has touched many lives in those years. Mildred was very energetic and took life at full speed.
Visitation will be held at the First Wesleyan Church, 14425 Helmer Rd on Friday May 26, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held at the First Wesleyan Church, on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Robert Zuhl and Pastor Dave Dyer officiating.
Interment will take place in the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the Children's Ministry at the First Wesleyan Church.
